The story:
The Pandavas have returned to claim their share of the kingdom. They are welcomed by the blind king,
Duryodhana is eaten by revenge. I don’t eat and sleep any more. He said to Amba.
I cannot be happy, I doubt, I doubt myself. I have to express those doubts. I want a war at all costs not to give the kingdom to the Pandavas. I want to keep the whole kingdom.
Drona comes as an envoy with a peace proposal from the Pandavas, and he tells them against Duryodhana: If you give the Pandavas 5 villages, there will be no war. But Duryodhana replied: A king does not waste his kingdom. As long as I live no one will take anything from my empire. I don’t give 5 villages, I don’t give one. They don’t get a pin from my ground yet.
Disappointed, Drona left the room. You will have a beautiful death, if the earth needs victims we will have a beautiful bloodbath. War is inevitable, don’t forget that the Pandava’s have many friends.
And one of them is Krishna. And with this answer, the Pandavas left the palace a second time.
